Fertility and Packing

Fertility starts with healthy, well matched breeding pairs that have room to behave naturally. We collect eggs often, keep them clean, and candle them before shipping. Because ostrich eggs are large and valuable, we pack them in deep suspension foam and double box every order. We recommend overnight shipping.

Incubation Basics

Ostrich eggs incubate at about 97 to 98 degrees Fahrenheit with humidity around 20 to 30 percent, lower than many eggs. Expect hatching near day 42. Results depend on your equipment and handling, so order a few to improve your odds.
